you guess right; with no luck.

I ended up with some about 12 audio tracks with digi eq and some digi dynamics and...

Hi there,

I just tried turning the playback engine to 10 processors and 99% usage.
With this I tried all settings concerning cache size.

I´m sure, there´s no possible setting in the playback...

I already did some experiments with the number of processors used and the cpu usage in %, but with no luck so far.

Hi there,

News:
This problem is solved.
I tried another HD, a WD Caviar black.
With this I replaced the "old" audio HD, a WD Caviar green.
All the DAE errors are gone.
I´m still curious why...

Installed PT 9.0.5

The same DAE errors...

You mean you would use the ADAT outs instead of the analog outs to get lower latency?

The major aspect of latency is due to the buffer-settigs in PT and not the interface.

Unless you didn´t open up your 002 Rack and installed new preamps, you´re on some digi preamps and NOT focusrite.

Hi!

All in all it sounds really punk-like... very good.

Only the guitars are a bit thin and the snare sounds more like a suitcase than a like a snare drum.
Get the mic closer to the snaredrum...
