well, i don't know how i missed it but, yeah, it was the 6.9.2(cs2?) update that did the trick for me...thanks!

i've got the same problem...running 10.4.2 and LE 6.9.2 does that help (2xG5 2.3 2x250HD 2GB RAM mbox)

initially i set up an account for a new user, installed ptle there but that wasn't going so...

I am jealous of your experience hacing bough a 192 myself and having had nothing but trouble since. Playback is choppy one moment and then worse the next. Seldom is it the way it is supposed to...
