The reason why I updated was because I'm windows 7 and the last known version to work with 7 is 8.0.5 so I had to install 8.0 then update to 8.0.5 yea pro tools LE.. I didn't do any other updates...

I just borrowed my friends digi 003 and hooked it up and now it's not doing the blue screen but I hear crackling and popping every now ans then on playback.
Anybody knows this problem??

Also I've read to unistall 1394 driver and go to legacy but there is no legacy 1394 driver what so ever in the 1394 update driver section..

yes hes right usb speakers will prolly not work with pro tools because ur speakers need to be pluged into the output section of ur m-box or digi consol .... u need some 1/4 to 1/4 cables and run from...

u can always bounce it down as wav and use a program to convert it to mp3 thats what i do i never use the mp3 option always wav as u get the highest quality and encode using lame :)

Just like jms40 said u prolly have a trial mp3 option plugin .... if u didn't buy the mp3 option then most likely u have a trial one ... u can buy the mp3 option for like 20 bucks on protools.com or...
