Thanks for the response, and I'll start new next time... but I thought this appropriate because my gear is at least of 2008 vintage, including the computer.

everything is silent through the headphone jack... the output jacks on the back are noisy coming out of the 002

this is happening on my 002

I have the cable (1394) going from the back of the pc to the back of the 002. 002 is clocked with an isa 428 equipped with the digital card. All is seamless and...

Mine is 7x so maybe that's why. Thanks for the tip on the latency checker. I'll run that from my pc... and see if Norton may be the cause. (I added that later... so maybe...)

Ok... i think I got it....

I re installed the drivers, and adjusted the track settings for "click". would the "samples" settings work too? Does it need to be an "aux track" and not an "audio...
