Actually - not only does the bug affect HDX systems with external chassis - I'm having issues with the 2023.6 HD driver, and I have my HDX card mounted inside my 5,1 Mac Pro (no chassis).

Sorry was in a rush when I posted that - Running PT HDX 10.3.5. On OSX 10.8.2 with a Mac Pro 2 x 2.93 with 64 GB RAM.

Elastic audio works as expected for a few minutes, but any session utilizing elastic audio will crash and quit unexpectedly every 20 minutes UNLESS I commit the audio and turn off Elastic.

Per your suggestions, I contacted George Massenburg, explained the problem, and within a few hours he sent me a Beta version of his MDW EQ in AAX DSP format. I'll install it today and report back...

They are VERY dangerous bugs.

I'm the same way. I have a 12-core 2.93 Mac Pro. Reformatted and installed 10.8.2, and PT HDX 10.3.3, and tons of -9171 errors in moderate size sessions. Even WORSE, there are tons of BUGS in 10.3.3!...

Can't believe how long ago this thread was started, and a lot of us still have the same errors running the latest Mac OS and the latest version of ProTools HD.
