I've been having the same issue with one of our rigs at the studio. The home and net directories only show in the pro tools workspace when someone has mounted one of your drives on their machine...

if you launch Terminal and go to your root directory (cd /) you will find both net/ and home/ directories listed there. Those directories are what Pro Tools is thinking are drives.
