Jeff, any luck finding out if the 6 analog card limit is going to be fixed in the future? IIRC, there was no such limit on DAD's website when I first started researching these units.

Ideally, I'd double up and have the extra inputs and some additional outputs, but cost adds up fast. The MADI interface (SSL in this case) needs to stay as the rig will often be used on trucks where...

Well, that's a serious deal breaker. Will this be addressed in the future? I'll be pulling the trigger on this in early 2017. I had my mind set on the MTRX versus the Merging Horus.

Hi Jeff,

Are all 8 slots going to be enabled so you can have 64 channels of mic pres? My understanding is it is currently limited to only 6 slots, for 48 inputs.

I should have added that I duplicate my interface 1-2 outputs to interface outputs 5-6 and send those to the truck, and I monitor on 1-2. Solo's show up on interface outs 3-4. Hope that helps.

Not sure about the confidence mix description, but the workflow would be, monitor your 2 mix as normal through outputs 1-2, which is sent to whatever recording medium you have, be it a video truck,...

Checked the preferences tab, Digi is selected. Opened the console, no obvious physical signs of a problem, and the hiss continues.
