DaveC Test Is located HERE (http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.php?Number=335638).

(1)Create a new session @ 44.1khz 16 or 24 bit
(2) Under Setups : Playback Engine : Set H/W buffer size to 1024...

What was your score before PT7 Upgrade? Also Assuming that you did the DaveC test correctly with the adviced plugins, do you feel that adding ram over the course time increased...

Also, HD users and M-powered users, and soon to be for LE users, iLoks are nessecary to run protools.

Probably Want the 002R for High-Resolution work. [88.2/96]

Unless of course you are planning to be mobile with your setup, in which case I'd keep the old mbox. [example : laptop or small desktop] ...

I had 4 Digital Tracks to use.

1.4-8 mics on drumkit.
2.Those mics come into a small mixer...
