yes- if you can do everything you need to do like you would a 48k/44.1k session all the plug ins, automation without your computer slowing down at all...if you can't then no-because theres [bleep]...

Im thinking of either getting the Powercore Firewire ( or the Mk II) or The Universal Audio UAD1

what do you have? have you tried both? Pros/Cons of each system?

or for 499 you can get a T3, it's a warmer smoother C1 with multiple patterns, the highend is much better on the T3..

is there a quality loss when bouncing at 128 instead of 1024? i have a Dual 2ghz G5 with 4.5gb ram, why would i be having problems? im prob. gonna re-format my computer and start all over.

I started to get Pops and Clicks randomly on songs after bouncing them down., the clicks and pops aren't in pro tools and in the master fader i even tried putting the waves x click and x crackle but...

if your on a mac and have iMovie, you can use it to combine the original movie with your mixed sound, and you can mute the original track too

i have a DUAL 2ghz with 4.5gbs ram, and i run out of power, the faster the cpu the better and more memory too, i also have 2 19" LCD's it works well.

get the 2.7Ghz

whats the best out there? I'm trying to connect a pair of Dynaudio AIR 15's to my 002 digitaly but the 002 has S/PDIF out and the Dynaudio's have AES/EBU in's thanks

what i like about the JBL's is how they sound so real, and yea the AIR 20's are amaizing, midrange was perfectly clear. in the low end, who wins Dynaudio or JBL? and the Adam's i didin't like the low...

DDR Ram for G5

im looking to buy some 1GB stikcks of ram for my G5, ive seen some online for pretty cheap which are the same specs as the ones apple sell ( for much more) anyone ever used other ram on their G5...
