For example - I have a memory location set to display all my tracks in "volume" view (I label this as "MIX")

Did you ever notice a difference in audio quality between committing a VI to audio compared to actually routing the VI track to an audio track...

I have been doing exactly this - but wondered if it made much of a difference. Your point about using Heat is something I never considered.
