Haven't used this since I upgraded to HDX and it's just sitting around and getting dusty. It's 100% ready to go, has some decent plugins and some great drum samples that will be left on the machine....

I have the Avid Rack Chassis for my HDX and it's the loudest single item in my room. I'm looking to replace this fan with a quieter one, ASAP.

I just did the same thing on my Mac Studio with HDX and a couple Apogee X-HD equipped addresses. Changing the channels in the speaker configurator fixed my issue.

I too could not get my Studio to recognize my HDX in the Avid TB3 chassis and I realized after much head scratching that I was using a USB-c cable instead of thunderbolt. :D

Bringing this old thread back. My chassis is loud. Loudest item in my control room and I have an Omni and 3 192s.

Gotta look into a quieter fan for it. Do these have firmware updates?

I'm going to go against the grain and suggest the AVID/Digidesign Pre. Class A, all discrete, controllable from PT. Yes it's clean. It's not a Neve.



The I/O section is very comprehensive...
