Pro tools Trial - Not Ultimate?

I want to trial run Pro tools, not Pro tools ultimate.
on the Avid page I selected pro tools (not ultimate) and downloaded the trail link from that path , but Ultimate was what ended up being...

When i try to record drum patterns from my Dr 880 drum machine into protools the recorded notes dont get captured locked to my grid?

as it has midi files recorded by real drumers, and the program is like having a real drum kit in a studio.

works well with groove monkee too. and will play back your own patterns...

actually, it makes no difference if using the canopus or watching the movie on Computer screen. the sync delay while scrubbing is independat of the Fw output. hence as you said, the movie offset is...

i have an ATI radeon card, and a fuse card which worked perfectly in os9 while scrubbing! but now its unsuppoted.

ok, so Lacie contacted me.
it is the 912 chip that is the problem as its not supported by didgidesign.
they said they give a drive to digidesign to help them rectify the problem. so with any luck...

sure, im using as a read only drive once ive got my library restored on it. but it should be able to play a single PT track no problem, as the older lacie drives do.
