I would like to be a Pro Tools HD HDX user but at a starting price of £6,299 for a new system, there is no way on earth I can afford that. I feel I'm not alone.

However that doesn't apply to an old OS like XP. People who made the jump from XP, X64, Vista, Windows 7 have only just been able to get off the 3.5GB XP RAM limit. + I've never seen space for 32GB...

Either the OS allows us to gain higher access to RAM (with program) alignment or faster drives become cheaper.

Well....

Omnisphere, BDF2, & Superior Drummer 2 love all the RAM you have. Be it so load up's are faster or you can load more "of" while keeping project consistency.
