I mainly just use kontakt with session drummer and session stings maybe about 10 VIs within kontakt.

Does Kontakt automatically load the samples in ram or...

I bought this same exact one a couple months ago and its amazing and still comes with apples 1 year warranty . Als this server version comes with 2 internal hard drives already and I upgraded the ram...

Check your playback engine settings. You want the lowest buffer rate while recording and maybe even trying putting in delay compensation.

So you wont have a million different finder windows annnd cut and paste
