Actually, I just figured out my issue. It just behaves differently now. Instead of typing the name in the name field, I first click "prompt for location" then enter the name in the "save new session...

Used to be, when I'd export a clip that already exists in a folder, I'd be asked if I want to overwrite that existing clip. That option has vanished. Now, a new file is created automatically with "1"...
