Why are you using "Command" to Cut, Copy or Paste? Turn on "Commands Focus Mode" and just use "X", "C" or "V". And with Commands Focus Mode turned on, you can use just "B" to Separate At Cursor.

You can only rename and keep an old version of Pro Tools and install a new version on Mac, not Windows.

On Windows, uninstall Pro Tools and the HD driver, reboot, install the new Pro Tools.

I very much like W10 Pro and have had only a few, easily corrected issues. I'm on the latest W10 update and 2021.3 and no problems. W10 is fully optimized, including several Avid has not documented...

No issues here with Ctrl+Alt+B, although 2/3 of that, Ctrl+B, is programmed into the "down" of my mouse wheel. I'll try the keyboard shortcut later today.

On Windows, it's one or the other. With RAA, use Import Audio.

It might be possible to change the permissions for the PT .exe. You'll need to check the Internet how to do that.

Ctrl+B is "Clear", similar to Delete, but only if something is highlighted. Personally, I would try a different keyboard.

Turbo Boost is in BIOS and disabling it there makes it permanent and not subject to change with a Windows Update. It's also one of the Avid optimizations. Are you possibly talking about Intel's Turbo...

Since you've been to your BIOS to disable Turbo Boost, go back in again and disable C-States.
