Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools SE? There are utilities like "Revo uninstaller" that will make sure the application is completely removed one can find it in Google.

For Pro Tools SE a dual core procesor is the best.

More than 2GB Ram is better.

Windows 7 is the best Windows OS and I'm not sure wether it would work with Media Center.

The sound quality of Pro Tools SE is much better than Reaper but Reaper is more functional.

Also Pro Tools design is more functional and the built in plug in's are really cool you really don't...

Also the standard Fast Track base model (with mic and guitar input) should do this.

I don't know if Pro Tools SE allows you to select the bus on the track there's no mixer.

The problem is the installation most probably. Try using Revo uninstall utility you can find it in google.

Make sure your interface is pluged in.
In the task bar double click the m-audio icon...

You shouldn't have to wait so long to render audio when exporting!!! There is a problem with the software if it's doing that. Pro Tools SE should take just a little longer than rendering in Pro Tools...

For windows 7 you should look for the hidden icons in your task bar then double click the m-audio icon. Make sure in the m-audio mixer panel that pops up that...
