I'm glad I checked back in on this thread. For some reason I was thinking WinXP Pro (32-bit) was limited to 2GB of system mem. I'm going to add another 2GB of RAM.

I've got my current build in a rack-mount case from boomrack. With the large fans and power supply, it is pretty noisy. I'm unsure I'd ever be able to (equitably) build a system...
