Yeah, PCI, not pcie, I should have made that clear, I have my cards in a magma chassis so I never had to do the pcie crossgrade , instead that money will go to HDX if I decide to upgrade

I like what he said, I admit I've been in the DSP club for 12 years and pushed back against native, but I'm over that now. HDX is DSP's last stand, if you need it get it, but newdestinyx has it...

Exactly, my playback engine has been at 256 for years and I have rarely ever touched it, now when I mix in native I may experiment with 128 if I run into any problems.

I also think this approach is best.
This way you will hardly ever run out of TDM but have them available for individual tracks if you need them placing them after any Rtas plugs that may already...
