Go to import audio to track or bin and you should be able to audition REX and acid files in real time. This is one sweet new feature. As far as wav files I don't think you can do that, though.

the other solution to latency is to mute the record track and then tweak the mix knob; however, you won't be able to hear any plugins on that track.
