Re: AAE -30001 error w/ Sonarworks reference 4

After much time I finally got things working with Sonarworks and High Sierra. Turns out to be a permissions issue with Mac OS. Avid support suggested deleting the plugin, creating a new account, and...

Re: AAE -30001 error w/ Sonarworks reference 4

Can I ask you what is the version fo Sonarworks that you're running with 10.13.6 ?

From Avid:

Re: AAE -30001 error w/ Sonarworks reference 4

I don't know if I can get this answered but I would like to understand is what does AAE error -30001 really mean regarding "insufficient resources" ? Is this a plug-in permissions issue,...

I've current upgraded from PT 12.8.3 to PT 1029.6 and updated my OS from El Capitan to High Sierra latest and still see the AAE error -30001. The plug-in lods fine now and I can see it in my...

Re: AAE -30001 error w/ Sonarworks reference 4

Makes me wonder if the security patch that I installed for 10.11.6 has affected some files in macOS causing this new issue that only a fresh install can fix ? I really with Avid would get to root...

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

My MacPRO is from mid 2012 with no GPU Metal support which Mojave requires. I could update my GPU card for Mojave but I want to first understand the nature of the problem before dropping another...

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I opened a new ticket with Sonarworks and with Avid support since I now have a year of free support with 2019.6. Fingers crossed this will get resolved sooner than later.

AAE -30001 error w/ Sonarworks reference 4

Hi All,

After wrestling with AAX 64 bit unrecognized errors with macOS 10.11.6 and PT 12.8.3, I decided (per-recommendation from Avid and some folks here on DUC) to upgrade to 10.13.16 (High...

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

I upgraded to Sierra latest with 12.8.3 and still no dice. Same issue which is a huge bummer as I don't want to fork our 299.00 for a license upgrade and move to Mojave just to experience the same...

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

Is there a reason why you do not want to upgrade to High Sierra ? Earlier posts suggest that it's stable and would resolve the issue unless I missed something in the thread.

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

I should also mention that I upgraded to 12.8.3 since experiencing this problem. Do you think it would be safe to just upgrade El Crap to High Sierra 10.13.2 ?

Re: Suddenly PT won't load Plug-Ins because not valid 64-bit

I'd like to chime in on this thread. I'm on El Capitan, with Pro Tools 12.7.1 and experienced the same issue with Sonarworks weeks ago. Sonarworks can't seem to help me out and AVID is claiming this...
