Well, just as an update. While iLok completely cocked things up Avid came through big time today. JC who I dealt with was great, and thanks. I hope everyone else who has been burdened by this mess...

Well Avid responded. You didn't buy from us, so tough luck, we don't care you can't use our product, deal with iLok to find your lost licenses. Amazing customer service.

Not sure if it will help you Guym, but I just called the long distance support number today. It might have helped, I had to send a bunch of documents to prove my ownership of my missing licenses...

Temp working yes thanks to Avid and the free 30 day trial. Not because of iLok/PACE. My legitimate and paid licenses are still 'lost' and no word or help from them at all as to what is happening.

I just kept trying the same thing over and over, and for whatever reason after about a dozen attempts all finally worked out well and PT11 is working.

I used to have a bunch of free PT10 plug ins,...

PT11 Install Location

I always liked how the old PT installed in one AVID folder on my iMac. With PT11 it is in it's own place in my applications folder, and the AIR insturments in another.

This software cannot be run because the activation experience thinks the authorization was found, but the wrapper could not verify it.
