Upgrading 7.4 to 8.0 on used 003r

I just bought a used 003r that came with PTLE 7.4 and an additional 8.0 disc with the authorization code on it. Legit purchase and software license was transferred.

Still haven't resolved the issue. I used to clock with a Rosetta via lightpipe on this same system and always got a message when changing the clock. Don't know why I'm not getting one...
