Hi,


Is there a way to reset the take number assigned to a recording?


For instance, say I create a Track and label it U87-L. I make a quick test recording, which gets auto labeled U87-L-01....

This behavior only happens when I launch ProTools with the three drives connected. At the end of my day, I quit out of all of my programs, but I can't eject the drives until I shut the computer...

Transintl (http://transintl.com) makes some great enclosures that are extremely quiet. Just wait for Outpost/Fry's to have a low price on a Seagate drive and slap it into the enclosure.

If you want to input exact numbers, then use the AudioSuite Time Shift plug-in. It will allow you to type in the desired length time or tempo.
