also do i have to first uninstall 6.8, then install 7.1, if so, that wont affect any of my saved sessions correct??

yea i have man stored on a second hard drive, i bought just for audio files, so i guess i just be good. and im guessing that once i updated they just open up with 7.1 instead. thanks man
