Re: The commit bug is BACK!

If I do a bunch of other edit moves first (to reset the list) I can add a series of MIDI notes with no error.

Well, it's rare that I would add new MIDI notes after committing anyway as I usually...

Re: The commit bug is BACK!

Following the steps in your video and using Windows 7, this creates an access violation instead of a crash. After closing the AV box, I can resume working with no crash or freeze.

It happens when...

Re: Trying to buy Pro Tools 12. The saga continues

And you tried updating the address in your Avid account to match the address associated with your payment method?
Just wondering because I think I recall having to update mine way back.

Re: 12.8.2 - access violation errors

Just wondering if these errors exist when running Pro Tools as administrator?
If not running as admin, try doing so.

Also, are any of your folders being shared on an active Homegroup network?...

After all, it's a new release!

I'll still take the 6 month extension though.;)

Good points & well...

Re: Random but regular error opening sessions in PT 12.7.1

Thanks for the thought.
I'll try deleting prefs and then create a new template.
Older sessions open without issue.

Since no one else has experienced it my guess would be it's the pref settings...

Re: Random but regular error opening sessions in PT 12.7.1

The errors still happen randomly but I have found an unusual workaround.

When I get the error, I close the session, open a different session, close it and then go back to the session I was trying...

Re: Please help rating older I7-3770 processor's "power" for PT12

Re: Please help rating older I7-3770 processor's "power" for PT12

If that's your benchmark, then it sounds like you have your results.

Re: Please help rating older I7-3770 processor's "power" for PT12

I just meant that the processor would be rated at higher power with a lower sample rate working with what he has.
Just trying to reassure that his older machine does in fact have power using a...

Re: Please help rating older I7-3770 processor's "power" for PT12

If you're decided about using what you have for a time, I would suggest using a sample rate of 44.1kHz or 48kHz max.
There's an upgrade in...

Re: Is it me or does Pro tools elastic audio/warping algorithm suck

Did you establish the original tempo of the song in sample mode before using elastic audio?

Once you...
