I upgraded my PPC Dual 2.5 yesterday to 8.0.1 and I have had crash after crash. Unless I get this solved in the next 24 hours, I'm going back to cs3.

That's all true. The problem is there is an entire generation that did not grow up on a console. They have no idea what gain staging on a analog or digital console is because they've NEVER done it.

IMO mixing ITB is an acquired skill. It will take time to learn how to do it right.
I know so many people who leave a conventional console and try mixing ITB and immediately pronounce it impossible...

Series 1 covered both tracking and mixing.
We are planing on Series 2 being much more on the mixing only.

I tried the Euphonix faders at NAMM in PT LE (512 steps) and then I tired the faders in Logic (1024 steps).
Honestly, I couldn't feel any difference.

Hold down the command key and go to your pulldown plugin menu.
Select any plugin. That plugin should now show up and the bottom of your plugin menu.

As far as I know, all of my friends who have Mac Pro's are running flawlessly. No glitches!
