Re: Problem changing Data drive as recordable

You might also check your partition table type in addition to making sure you are formatting with ntfs basic. Some older versions of protools require master boot record (MBR) partitions and will...

Re: How to Make my western digital external Hard Drive an “Audio Record Volume” in Pr

PT 8 doesnt like guid global partition tables. Look in disk administrator properties to see if your audio disk is using mbr or gpt.

Re: Will my Original MBox work with Protools 8??

Pro tools 8.0.1 runs fine on win7/64 with origional mbox.
As a matter of fact, it runs fine on win10, too.

However versions after 8.0.1 don't support the origional mbox so cs2 is as far as you...

Re: Any Reason Not to Use USB 3.0 Thumb Drive as a Record Volume?

Would you mind mentioning what brand of flash drive this was? It's speed? What steps were required to get protools to switch it from transfer to a audio record disk in workspace? Did you remove...

Re: Help an idiot get started with drum programming

I feel I should amend part of what I said above because it is not correct. Even if you use separate items in the Reason rack, like DrRex and Redrum together, you still do not get individual volume...

Problem solved. I feel dumb now that I know how, but it wasn't readily apparent to me at first, and nothing explicit in the documentation that I saw, either. You have to toggle the currently selected...

Re: Help an idiot get started with drum programming

Using the ReDrum sequencer built into Reason Adapted with a midi controller (keyboard or pad) is the easist method that I have found to add some quick drum tracks. Plus, you don't have to buy...

Re: Maudio Trigger Finger

Indeed, my problem seems to be that the Enigma software isn't reprogramming the notes. When I programmed the pads manually to the correct octave for ReDrum, it worked. However, I am still...

Re: New chipset compatibility, can we get a Dimens

Re: my mbox sounds like rice krispies in sprite W

Could it be possible that somewhere around 3.2ghz the processor clock produces some kind of resonant frequency that the mbox just happens to be succeptable to picking up, and perhaps wasn't tested...

Re: my mbox sounds like rice krispies in sprite W

Wow, that sounds like the new processor is putting out a lot more RF than the old one.

Does moving the mbox further away from the computer make any difference? Are you perhaps using 48khz for...

Re: my mbox sounds like rice krispies in sprite W

I assume you have ruled out digital clipping going on in your tracks as that can certainly cause pops and crackles?

Nobody has weighed in on Rincon's 48khz observation and said they aren't using...
