I'm using 5.3.1 (I know don't say it). My sessions always open in the MIDI event list. I would rather they open in the EDIT window but I don't know how to set a default for that. It's only an...

Re: Latency Blues

If you have an external mixer and you are recording through a preamp that has an external output you can do this. I'm using a Mackie 1202 and a pre to do this.

1) Route Out 1-2 (the mains) from...

Re: Should I Upgrade From 5.3 to 6.4?

I went to 6.x then ended up going back to 5.3.1 on my 001. 6.x takes more of the processor to run the Digi software. 6.x was telling me to remove plug-ins in the same sessions that 5.3 was handling...

Re: How many still here on 5.3.x and proud?

I went back to 5.3.1 after upping to 6.1 for a while. The track and plug-in count did go down in 6.1. I'm running a 2.53G P4 with 1G RAM. Some of the 6.x features were nice but I didn't want to...

Re: Upgrade from LE 5.3.1 to LE 6.4

I just went back to 5.3.1 after going to 6.1.

Re: What cables are people using to keep good quality?

It's not cheap but silver has a lower resistance than copper. Look at Zaolla cables: http://www.zaolla.com/
