Mackie Control Universal + PT 6.4 + G5dp2 +10.3.6

Dear all,

Attempting to get my Mackie Control Universal working with ProTools.
Ive read the instructions:
Start MCU in HUI mode, then preipherals...
In the manual it says add a HUI midi object,...

Registration of new pthd2 system only by fax/mail

Am in OK and just received new pthd2. It seems that I can only register by fax or mail to the US. Is this right? No online registration? Seems very,very odd.
Any ideas?

HD2 192 Coreaudio problems with Logic 7

Frustrating problem,
I would like to use the coreaudio drivers under Logic 7. (Why? Academic institution with lots of students composing on logic 7 on builtin audio allowing quick and easy...

How is the Massive Pack?

Very interested to hear reports back from those who got the massivepack deal.
Am seriously considering it, mainly for TL Space. Any comments much appreciated.

So just to be clear...

I can use logic and the coreaudio drivers of the HD system without issue? (of course without exploiting the DSP of the cards)

But using Logic TDM is less than perfect?

I chose the mackie as it can be configured (apparently) as a logic control or as a PT-optimized setup.
