Ok, I figured out the problem in case anyone else runs into this. When I installed the SSD I labeled it as the "B" drive. For some reason PT didn't recognize it until I changed it to the "E" drive....

i trashed the pref's but not the catalogs. what are those? in the workspace there is a "drive" or something that shows up that is called catalog....but i don't know what that is.

yes, it is def NTFS. that was default setting and i made sure it was set to that beforehand.

does PT9 support SSD or is it not until PT10?

Ok, this is what i've come up with. I can't locate the Factory Bundle plugins installer anywhere on the AVID site....at least a file that contains all the plugins that came with my factory bundle...

ok, so i think i figured it out, well some of it. i downloaded the factory bundle v9 because it says that it is compatible with pt10. but when i try to install it it says "protools is not installed...

thanks for the info. i probably need to download the PT8 bundles i'm guessing since I got the factory bundle when I purchased PT8. Or would that carry over and I can download a newer bundle?
