O2R Hardware trouble

I have been using 6.7 LE O2R since 2004 with no problems. Love it. But yesterday, the PC stopped reading the O2R. I fired up the computer as usual, then the O2R. On the O2R, the little green light...

Hullo to all the Good People of Earth,

You have actually surpassed the technology we have on Jupiter, so I need your help.

I am sure I can get more out of my system. I have Zalman cooling and...

Wow, Thanks Ducky. The second one is a doozy...just what I've been looking for. I already bought the fanmate 2 but my 120mm fan has a single 4-pin power plug that plugs straight to the psu. The...

Re: Downsampling entire session: Should I?

Hi, Shaun here. Good advice and I will use it.
I have a similar problem I think, in that I keep hitting my CPU peak way too early...ie. 19 audio tracks and 6 plug ins. The PC won't handle any more....

Re: Chassis fan noise

Do you know the model number.
I haven't found it shown in any of the "Quiet PC" articles I have viewed. And I haven't seen it listed by suppliers.

All help appreciated.

Re: recording guitar amps makes me angry

I tried the standard close-micing with the sm57 and didn't like it at all.
I find if I put my Rode NT1000 about 3-4 feet back from the cabinet in front of the speaker I get a pretty realistic...

Re: Drum Mic Packages

I like the AKG D112 for kick. Still haven't decided on snare. I use a Rode NT1000 as a room mike and it really adds snap to the sound...covers the other poorer mic's shortcomings by filling in the...

Re: Adat 48 Khz transfer plays back slow

Ah ha. That would explain why this problem seemed to "fix" itself once before. I still had my adats hooked in. But not any longer unfortunatley, which means I have to go back and transfer again.

Do I need to assign a \"record\" drive?

Re: sample rates on the 002R?

Re: Digi 002R question

Yep, no prob. The 02R has 8 line inputs, 4 of which are switchable to mic pres with phantom power. I don't use the pres either and have no problems tracking 8 at a time.
Hope this helps,

Shaun...

Re: Athlon 64 vs. Athlon XP

Re: Can I make good recordings using factory plug-ins

I have the factory bundle. I think it's ok, but I would say the plug ins PT comes with are pretty good at enhancing the audio, 'sepcially the Factory Bomb and the EQs.
