I'll tell ya how to do it...even though you already tracked the song. Use a fender or tele and run that through a Marshall or Mesa. I have both, but I like to use the marshall for clean/light...

Yeah, I have muted ALL of my tracks and still I'm picking up analog ins 5 and 6 which are two of my tom mics. I have record enabled everything and muted everything...I still hear those mics emitting...

I'm using Pro Tools HD and I've been trackings drums and therefor are using 10 analog ins. This is crazy, but it seems like sometimes in this case analog ins 5 and 6 are coming out of my speakers...

Yeah...my hi-hat always seemed loud and intrusive...My cymbals always sounded great though. I guess when it comes to recording and playing the hi-hat I really gotta play it softer.
