It took about 4 hours to do the update (Jeesh!) but it did it's thing just fine. Thanks for the advice. I'm just setting this up and don't plan on recording anything until I purchase an external HD...

The M Powered 8.0cs3 update fixed all my plugin crash problems but, I couldn't see SampleTank in the plugin folder in PT. I just went to IK Multimedia and download the new zip update for Sampletank...
