In Edit Window select the clips, where you think the invalid fades are. (in my case the whole edit)

It's about all parameters in the output window (l-r position, divergence, f-r position, center%...). Plug-ins have the "copy settings" and "paste settings" command. That's what I'm looking for.

I know. That's not what I mean. There are several ways to copy automation from one clip to another, even just pan automation.

I started this thread because of trouble on IMPORTING files. In my setup Basehead spots files to multichannel tracks in ProTools and for a group of files most of the time(!) I get L-C-R-LFE-LS-RS....

does anyone know how PT manages interleaved multichannel files when importing them? Is there any signature in the file which tells about the track order and does PT read it?

Had the same problem. It disappeared - I don't know exactly why. Can't remember. I think it's an OS issue.

Trouble with input source/keyboard language [SOLVED]

everytime I launch ProTools the input source switches from German to US. After switching back to german in sysprefs and toggle between Finder or any other app and ProTools the keyboard language again...

the best is to backup on a cloud like dropbox. if you store the backup in the same building as the original, it's not safe (fire, burglar...)

copy-special is the way I do it most of the time. But as I often work in preview-mode and sounds are built up with lots of tracks, it would be nice to have such a function for all...
