it's a mixing session

all plugins\automation info need to be removed for restart.

how can i do this???

how can i return to 8.0cs3 without completely reinstall all my pulgins?

i'm using 8.0.1, and i want to return to 8.0cs3, i can't do that by simply use the cs3 update installer, it said "digidesign pro tools hd 8.0cs3 requires the presence of digidesign pro tools hd 8.0"....

i remenber i trashed prefs before, but today i'll try it again to make sure.

for cs3 updating, i found some topics said there are a lot of issues in cs3, so i still remain using cs2.

it was works all fine before, but recently i can't even finish any x-form rendering without PT quit unexpected. it can always do that rendering process, but when it finished, PT will quit suddenly....

in my situation with two mono tracks OH, i grouped all of the drum kit, and i got that phase issue between two OH tracks. i don't know why, but it happened indeed~~~

i found that two mono tracks will cause serious phase problem when you use elastic audio to edit them.

i didn't think there are different between two mono tracks and a pair of stereo track before...

this is the main problem with many virtual instrument bass, it always a dead sound just like it was over compresed on it.

i tried to use a expand processor, but it's only a little better than...

after i tried what you said, i found though it's better than before the problem still there, thx anyway.

i lower the sensitivity in elastic settings, and made it only one anlysis marker on each...

i found timing vocal by EA is always a difficult thing. i used all the algorithm, none of those can give a perfect work include x-form.

is there any suggestion for vocal timing by EA or other...

i try to decrease the decay rate and it's better when cymbals relatively keep silence, but the part with full of cymbals becomes terrible.

i found a part with the drummer repeatly hit the ride...

i had try this function in rhythmic mode, and it dosen't work for get rid off artifacts at all.
in my situation, the phase problem could't be made by wrong decay rate setting.
