Try moving your cables around and see if you hear a difference, maybe a bad cable and things aren't really balanced? Try running power from a different outlet. I also put a dedicated power line and...

I had this problem with PT several years ago. Going balanced everywhere solved the zipper like noise while moving the mouse... though I see you are balanced out to you're monitors. :confused:

The fans on the two video cards make enough constant whirring noise that I had to put the MacPro in an iso cabinet. I used to keep it on the other side of the wall in another room with the wires...

Your graphics card that came with your MacPro should be able to handle two monitors no problem. To go to three you will need a second card. I bought the same card that came in the MacPro at the time...
