Tried these exact instructions twice. It might work for the mbox 3 pro, but i have the mbox 3 mini. also stuck in firmware update mode. No fix yet. Im willing to try anything though

Seriously, more people need to get involved in this thread. If you do a google search on "MBox 3 lights on hardware not found" 9 out of 10 of those posts are the same issue we've been plagued with....

If it makes you feel any better i have the exact same problem. First 8 faders are "dead" they jump around sometimes, they lay there dead sometimes, they work rarely, but they're completely un-usable....
