PSP Triple meter Crashes to desktop

Pro Tools 2022.12
Windows 11 Pro
Quantum Interface

As soon as I click the process button, I getthis message, click OK and then Crash to dektop

Any ideas?

Running Pro Tools in admin mode.

Edit:

I Used the S1 ping test to get the hardware latency value and inputted this into the HW insert delay...

153 samples / 48 =3.18ms

Routed the signal to another track and checked the...

Yeah I see that now. Thanks for pointing it out. As I say I'm pretty new to Pro tools so its all a learning curve for me,





I was just highlighting it wasn't a cabling or hardware routing...

I have made sure the outputs and inputs are matching thanks.

On the Quantum Pro tools sees the driver as the main outs being outputs 1 and 2 so I did what that guy on the forum suggested...

I defaulted all the IO

I have setup an insert in Studio one and Cubase 12 without issue.




OK thanks for the feedback. I was just asking why it takes a rocket scientist to setup an insert...

Yes.

I fired up studio one and got everything connected and working.

So I know its not

Hardware
Cables

Its something in protools im missing

yeah its patched like that...I get signal to the hardware FX and back but I get nothing on the main outs when the Insert is engaged.

When I disable the insert I get sound on the main outs.

I’m tempted to get Pro Tools Perpetual EDU from third party seller but would like guarantees I can update it still rather than being forced to go SUB down the line….

Ok thanks for the clarification….it seems to me that buying the perpetual is a waste of time then as I would need to keep updating it….and if I lapsed I would have to buy it again…:eek:

Hold first two select buttons , Power on FP16, select HUI, select exit. Reboot FP16

Launch Protools

Error.

FP16 plugged in and turned on when I boot, yep.

Just been looking at a RME Babyface Pro and it seems I could use my Audient ASP 880 with the Baby face pro over ADAT to record my drums etc...

But also because its bus powered and portable use...
