Re: Pro Tools 2019 perpetual license to 2020

Then you need a reinstatement. Some third party resellers like Sweetwater may still have some in stock. Avid stopped selling reinstatement plans at the beginning of this year. If you can't find one...

Re: No license found in iLock

Or the OP could be using iLok Cloud (which isn't that great of an idea anyways) in which case he wouldn't need a physical iLok. What's the problem is he put his email address in the field where he...

Re: Pro Tools 2019 perpetual license to 2020

It depends on what the renewal date is for your support and upgrade plan is. If you haven't gone past that date then just go to your Avid account and download the latest version of PT. Even though...

Re: Arturia Mellotron issues

Same problems. Analog Lab is really just a shell for the synth engines themselves. You just can't edit the sounds without having the specific model itself.

Arturia Mellotron issues

Just updated all my Arturia instruments a couple of days ago and the process went okay. What isn't okay is the updated Mellotron instrument. Insert it on a stereo instrument track and it plays fine....

Re: Does Pro Tools still work with Reason via rewire?

The 32/64 bit Reason thing is for Windows users as there's separate Reason programs for 32 bit and 64 bit. OSX users only have the one installer that does both 32 & 64 bit.

edit for additional:...

Re: Anybody here have repair experience with the Digi PRE

Actually most engineers don't have rework stations/soldering gear - that's the job of a technician or wireman. Or basic repair skills. I know because in my day job in another space/time continuum I...

Re: Anybody here have repair experience with the Digi PRE

If that's true then you know that without a schematic you're royally screwed.

You still need the proper tools to do the job - you have them? Like a proper soldering station and a magnifier?

Re: Anybody here have repair experience with the Digi PRE

Agreed. I've done a lot of surface mount work and even with the right tools like a very specialized soldering station you can muck things up VERY fast. And no schematic to boot?

SMD's are...

So why not use the Focusrite for everything? There's no technical reason not to. Did you even read what I wrote earlier?

Re: Macintosh moving to ARM

Thanks.

TSMC = Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company - up for grabs is how much does China pressure the company? Unfortunately most chip production is from China :(

Re: Using two Macs; One MIDI time clock, need advice

I would forget Reason Rewire. It's been deprecated and even if it wasn't you can't host vst/au instruments when Reason is rewired into PT or using the new Reason Rack in PT. You can only host vst/au...

Re: BlackOut Tuesday’s gonna need a whole lot more than 24 Hours

I still wouldn't go to Camden (remember I live in Trenton NJ). It's still a violent place and only recently was replaced as the murder capital of NJ. I think Newark owns that spot now.:(
