The only link I know of makes me fill out a form, then I click on the installer for mac from a link referencing the install files.

Uninstalling didn't fix it, I had to refresh the machine, and now it's back to full speed.

When I get some time, i'll record a before and after pro tools 11 install.

The controller chip on the SSD is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

Do not get a controller that derives its speed from compression, this is not good for media applications!!!!

It's up to the company. If the investors like a roadmap they'll do one, if not, why bother you do lose a strategic edge announcing your intentions early.

Increasing processing accuracy in any way is always a better thing. As is improving user experience.
