The Eleven Rack should offer you 2 sets of MIDI I/O; one labeled Eleven Rack and another labeled External. The External ports are the ones you should select for anything plugged into the MIDI ports.

Hey Jim,

Try turning off or unplugging your MOTU device and testing the MIDI on any of the other devices.
