I believe this might be a clock problem...try changing the clock settings in the Hardware options page from internal to something else and then back to internal.

Ok, I now just ordered the components I listed a few posts earlier.
So once I've got everything built together, I'll do some benchmarking
and report back with hopefully very good results....

been having this problem for some time now.
It's a pain to allways have to press "Ctrl + ." to abort a recording before
it's written to disk. I know it used to work up until PT 6.4 or...

In order to fix this problem, you should highlight the flute track (this is best done with the grabber) and then press delete. The wind noise should be gone....
