I would think that the Behringer monitors might be a little bass heavy themselves, causing you to compensate when you are mixing so that all the bass is gone when you playback on other systems.

Had another thought to share, if and when you do make the bass stronger, leave it totally out of the intro, let it kick in with the drums for that punch.

To further clarify, no I wasn't trying to use SONAR and PTLE at the same time, it just seems to be that if I have been using SONAR, it doesn't totally let go of its control of the 001 when I close...
