Re: Mixing Music for TV

Calibrate your monitors.
If it's a feature, mix it at 85 and have it sound right to your ears.
If it's a TV show, mix it at 79.

And as others have said, don't over compress it like a CD.

Re: Ua dfc

I use the pultec eq's, Manley voxbox, precision limiter , sometimes the VOG and the 224 reverb for a music verb.
I have 2 UAD satellites, so if someone needs to open up a session elsewhere and I'm...

Soundbase not reading metadata

I have a drive full of sFX with descriptions in the metadata.
Other programs can read the Data, yet soundbase doesn't seem to be able.

Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Routing Automation - Why Isn't this Done?!

Re: Routing Automation - Why Isn't this Done?!

The way I have my DX set up, is I have 2 Main DX process Busses.
Each DX track has 2 dedicated aux sends to the inputs of those 2 Busses. The output is assigned to go nowhere. (yes, a bus called...
