I used to keep a folder with all my installers and pass codes etc... on it.

But, I'm adding a MacBook Pro to my tool box, so I need all new installers anyway.

What exactly are you looking to do?

If you already have an HDX card, a pair of the HD32Rs will allow you to connect a Dante network to your HDX card and get all 64 channels into Protools.

The cost for an expired regular Protools plan was $399, not $999.

VCAs, or DCAs as some manufacturers call them, do not pass any audio. That's why you can't insert any effects on their channels. VCAs are NOT Auxes or Sub groups, and you shouldn't use them the same...

The Scarlett 18i20 series only has 18 inputs, that's the 18 in the name.

By default, the first 8 are the analog mic/line inputs. The second two are probably the S/PDIF inputs, and 11 through 18...

So the Machine Control from Protools would come from the computer, via a USB cable, and not from the serial port on the HD Native box? So I wouldn't need a Sync HD?
