I've tried the full range of over 20 instruments in the list, I still can only get the church organ and a synth to do anything =(

I don't think that I have tested 100% of the range available. My thinking was "Surely they wouldn't have a default note range displayed, and then stick the audible ones at the bottom or top extremes...

I do believe that when you use the Vocal Studio Mic, it registers itself...

Hi Dominic,

It does sounds alot like the Windows Updates causing havoc with Pro Tools, as booting in safe mode loads a very minimalistic set of drivers and programs for troubleshooting purposes.

This is probably a silly question, but do you have the guitar track enabled for recording? You need to select each track to "enabled" on the left, as well as hit the main recording...

I imagine that you would need some sort of software emulation which tricks Pro Tools SE into thinking that your computer keyboard is a standard...

The computers which you are trying to install Pro Tools SE on to do not meet the minimum requirements. Unfortunately there is no way around this other than upgrading your components or...
