The P5Q will not work with HD3 PCI. The heatsink will not allow the long DSP cards to seat properly. You can only use the last 2 PCI slots.

I just updated my HD4/Accel system with a Gigabyte P35 board. It has 5 PCI slots and works perfectly. CPU is the Q6600 with 2GB Corsair ram.
I can't see how anyone would need more power than this!!...

I just bought an Intel DP35DP board and the TDM cards won't fit because there is to much crap on the board. Besided, 2 slots...

I just have a template that I pull my projects into that has calibrated trim levels. I don't touch the "volume knob".

The panels in my desk are on hinges so you can get to the back.
Otherwise, I'd have to say use something like a Furman rackmount powerstrip.
I usually leave mine on, but if I'm not going to use it...

After 7.1? was never a problem. Otherwise, you had to check "Force Mac compatibility". Now it's just done automatically.

I had this custom desk built by Cascade productions. It's Maple with Walnut inlay and the vents in the top are open. There are doors in the top that you can access wiring.

You need to run a DigiTest on that card. PT assigns plugs where it wants. You can also assign DSP usage in your preferences.

The video has to be in a .mxf format to output through the Mojo. The Avid Express Pro should do this. Also you can not have embedded files like you have learned! PAL is an European format.

I have 2 multi-drive systems on my PT 7 HD/ACCEL4 rig.
I have an Intel D875PBZ board with the OS on the IDE drive and the recording drives are 2 WD SATA Raptors in a RAID 0 Array. No problems what...
