Thanks for the tips. Closing and reopening PT 11.3.1 for mac did the trick. Odd little bug though.

Default install values worked for me though the bass drum samples in Kontakt 5 Studio Drummer sounded "odd" until a reboot of the mac.

NI Service Centre confirms 17 new updates for my Komplete 9 package. All seem to have AAX 64 bit support included. (happy joy).

As I've been using Logic for the last little while I'm doing the PT...

+1 on the 1640i. Actually bought it for it's compatibility with M-Powered but upgraded to PT9 (a week later). At the same time I upgraded to a Mac Pro with lots of ram and processor. Been tracking...

FWIW, PT9 on a mac seems to run happier and faster than PT8.0.4 on a Duo Core PC.
