Convert your Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 and use the Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet-adapter to get an Ethernet port. Then use a DiGiGrid DLI to connect the Avid HD.

I remember Digidesign said it was impossible to get sound out of the internal speakers from Pro Tools, because of the "technical" things in DAE. Suddenly it was not…

As you can see, it's a lot of different answers. I think the user manual should be better to explain the way to configure different needs....

If you sell the Core card you should include the iLok with Pro Tools HD9 License. The software belongs to the Core card.

PT9HD with 192 and legacy

Hi.
I'm currently using Pro Tools 8.1 HD with one 192 I/O and an ADAT|24 connected to the legacy port. This is working very good for me.

I just bought the Wave Editor from Audiofile Engineering (http://www.audiofile-engineering.com/waveeditor/index.php). Works like charm for 2 track editing/mastering and burning. ($79 - 514,- NOK).
